‘Maombi yalinifunulia njia’ Kalonzo Says As He Rejoins Azimio
Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has today rejoined Azimio La Umoja- One Kenya Coalition just a few days after he quit and launched his presidential campaigns.
Kalonzo stated that he has deferred his dreams to vie for presidency and decided to support Azimio Leader Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua.
“I have today deferred my dream to run as the 5th president of the republic of Kenya. I wish to congratulate my learned sister on her nomination as Deputy President Nominee and I want to assure Martha of my full of unequivocal support,” he said.
According to Kalonzo, his decision to rejoin Azimio was informed by wide consultations from within the Wiper Party and the clergy.
“Therefore ladies and gentlemen after wide consultations I have decided to accept with humility my nomination as a chief minister in the Azimio-One Kenya Coalition,” said Kalonzo.
Kalonzo further joined Azimio La Umoja at the Nairobi Rally in Mukuru Kwa Njenga slums stamping his promise to campaign for Raila.
Azimio Leader Rala Odinga welcomed Kalonzo promising to address the biting issue of squatter land in the area.
